Private sector leadership for international trade

With private sector representatives from all four Atlantic Provinces, the Council advises federal and provincial governments on issues having direct impact on the competitiveness of the Atlantic Gateway and Trade Corridor.

Atlantic Canadian business has a voice in the development of international trade. That voice is the Atlantic Gateway Advisory Council.

Council members are experienced businesspeople, representing a balance of industries across transportation providers and system users, with expertise in global markets and trade.

The Council is committed to improve the competitiveness of the Atlantic Gateway and Trade Corridor for the greater benefit of our region and Canada. Our mandate includes connecting and communicating with businesses and organizations across our region, to collect information and ensure regional interests and views are reflected in our work.
